Suzanne Zuercher, O.S.B., is a member of the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago where she served as First Councilor and as Director of Formation. She was President of St. Scholastica Academy for twelve years where she worked with the Board of Directors and oversaw fundraising, marketing and public relations along with administration. She has taught in elementary, secondary, university and graduate schools, all in the private sector.

Suzanne was a campus minister at Loyola University (Chicago) and later became a staff member and Co-Director of the university's Institute for Spiritual Leadership, a year-long international program preparing professionals to accompany adults on the spiritual journey. Previous to that position, she was a Guidance Director and School Psychologist at St. Scholastica Academy. She has conducted workshops in training spiritual directors and in psychospirituality in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Wales, Germany, and in North America.

She regularly conducts programs and retreats for ecumenical groups in the Midwest as well as overseas. Besides working with groups, Suzanne has had a private practice in spiritual direction and psychotherapy and is a frequent lecturer in areas related to human development. Her books are available in six languages.

She is a licensed psychologist with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor's Degree in English.
